The development of Taiwan women’s art, from the Qing Dynasty and during the period of Japanese rule, until today had over hundred years time. But strictly speaking, The artistic creation based on the feminine consciousness had made a great contribution to the development of Taiwan women’s art is nearly thirty years’achievements. In the 1990s,In response to the western media art, Taiwan new media art came to a great deal of number. With the development of the silicon and the industry of silicon, Taiwan had gradually become an important production base of manufacturing digital audio-visual products in the world. New media art have the characteristics such as the digitization、virtuality、 interactive and real-time, and these are the factors that the traditional art can not reach. It broke through the limitation of three-dimensional space, and at the same time, it broke through the one-way mode of artistic activities. New media art have no restriction, creating Taiwan’s own performance of new media art, introspect some important social issues are the new media artists’ important projects and social responsibilities.I’d like to arrange the changeable process of feminist thought from the 1990s until now in Taiwan area, in this way, in order to observe the characteristics of Taiwan female art, and find the specific characteristics between the new media art and traditional artistic forms, make the use of the connectivity and interactivity, so that in order to explore the performance of Taiwan female art in varies stages of development. Try to find out Taiwan’s unique new media female art by analysis the works of Taiwan female artists. Get rid of the domination by western cultural industry gradually, enhance and glorify Taiwan female temperament, and I hope that it can do some favor for the viewers to appreciate it.This paper started from the study of western media feminist art, and extended to the study of Taiwan’s new media female art, tried to collect the representative documents and materials at home and abroad. Comprehended the history and presented situation of Taiwan’s new media female art, and as the bases for the collections, combined with the" reality of the work itself to explore problems, and in this way, we can analysis these works specifically, and discuss the works how to present artists’ thoughts and expectation, and also in order to expose the reality.The issue of feminist renowned in the world, the domestic research on feminism is based on the theory research of the western feminism, and is lake of domestic own female experience. But the new media art have the strong development potentials, at the same time, it should take on the social responsibilities like the other types of art. The shortage of the domestic research is how to construct Taiwan’s own female temperament and obtain the thoughts of individuality, and show the issue of female’s expressions and expectations by the works’languages.I hope that I can find some breakthroughs in this aspect.
