China is an ancient nation who have five thousand history and his colorful history cultures are contained in lots of murals and painting made by our former people.Those murals and painting are all so beautiful and valuable because they are created using many colorful pigments which give our former people the biggest imaging space.Using those pigments and imaging space our former people show their feeling and living culture happily and freely.If we regard the topic as the spirit origin of one painting,so the colorful pigments are the powerful material support to the paintings and murals. In fact the pigments research is also the research process of history culture development.The pigments in different times and different region are intense connected and developed,from the pigments we can conclude the making time of culture relics and also can know the social living activity of the region in this time.In this paper we use the hyper-spectral technology to do some research about pigments identification,we use hyper-spectral camera to capture the data and through build spectral database and spectral matching way to achieve our purpose. The follow described the main work in this paper:(1)Some factor which would influence the quality of hyper-spectral data,so we first do some test on the hyper-spectral camera through adjusting one factor and fixing others to find which factor would influence our data most.Those work would let us have a good using of the camera and obtain the better data.(2)The key of pigments identification is building an good spectral database.so we do lots of work to it including collecting pigments introduction and read many books to know integrity of pigments and we also go to pigments product making company to collect some important information.Those work can let us have a good understand of ancient pigments and build the better spectral database.(3)Spectral feature and spectral matching research.Using the database built above we can do the spectral matching.we test the normal spectral matching algorithm and the matching outcome is hardly accepted.we analysis the normal three spectral matching algorithm and designed one matching process to deal those problem.(4)The pigments management system software.For easily manage the pigments spectral we get and also convenient to enrich our spectral database,we use VS and Sqlsever to build the pigments management system software,which contain the data manage model,matching model.
