Being one of the typical Russian writers of the 19th century, Ivan Turgenev had an enormous influence on the development of Chinese modern literature. The study of Turgenev of Chinese scientists has more than a century. Despite the fact that the results of studies extensive and comprehensive, in the work of Chinese scientists has an acute shortage of analysis and study of Turgenev’s novels and short stories, including "The Torrents of Spring". In this story summarizes the specificity of creative ideas of Turgenev that deserves due attention and study. This thesis aims to analyze the " The Torrents of Spring " from different directions for further use of the results of the dissertation in the works for future research on this subject.This dissertation consists of three parts:introduction, main part, conclusion. In the introduction has a brief retrospective look at the study of Turgenev in China. The main part consists of three chapters:the first chapter investigated the creativity and the spread of" The Torrents of Spring ". The second chapter summarized the main characters and artistic features in this story. By analyzing the characteristics of the characters, we opened tradition and diversity in their ways, and investigated the specificity of psychological creativity and aesthetic principles of Turgenev. In the third chapter highlighted the ethical attitudes and ideas in the story. We disclosed particular ethical relationships between the characters and ethical reasons for their actions in the particular ethical situation, and also explained the environmental and social ethical views of Turgenev in this story. In the last part of the thesis presented the conclusion, references and word of thanks.
