This thesis based on Chinese Relative Clause Acquisition of International students based on process acquisition of Chinese relative clauses, Chapter 1 is the introducing part. The second chapter discusses the relationship between Chinese strategy, relativizer in Mandarin Chinese and defining of relative clauses. There is anempty pronoun or a overt pronoun in relative clauses which are the same finger with modified center. When the head which modified is omitted, the relative clause refers to it. The thesis combined with a large corpus of modern Chinese divided relative clauses from the type of syntactic and word order type. Relative clause which divided from syntactic position can be divided into subject relative clause, object relative clause, topic relative clause and genitive relative clause. Object relative clause can be divided into direct object relative clauses, indirect object relative clauses and prepositional object relative clauses. The genitive relative clause can be divided into temporary genitive relative clause, whole-part part genitive relative clause and Kinship genitive relative clause. Relative clause which divided from word order can be divided into relative clause of inside type, relative clause of outside type and relative clause of free type. When the target of relativization is a subject, the number of relative clause of free type is more than relative clause of inside type, the number of relative clause of inside type is more than relative clause of outside type. When the target of relativization is an object, the number of relative clause of free type is more thanrelative clause of inside type and relative clause of inside type. When the target of relativization is a topic, the number of relative clause of inside type is more than relative clause of outside type and relative clause of free type. Between the relative clause of free type and the relative clause of outside type has no obvious difference. When the target of relativization is a genitive, the number of the relative clause of inside type is close to the relative clause of free type, the number of the relative clause of outside type is zero.The survey of "The HSK Dynamic composition corpus" in third chapter indicates that the acquisition order in relative clause which divided from syntactic position is: subject relative clause acquisition earlier than object relative clauses, object relative clause earlier than topic relative clause. Acquisition order in relative clause which divided from word order is:the relative clause of inside type earlier than the relative clause of outside type, the relative clause of outside type earlier than the relative clause of free type. Then this paper analyzes "The HSK Dynamic composition corpus "to find the relative clause types of errors by foreign students and investigate the causes of errors occur.The fourth chapter describes the situation of Chinese relative clauses acquisition questionnaire, the analysis of the survey results obtained:firstly, with the improvement of the level of Chinese students, Chinese relative clauses of each type to determine the correct rate rise. Secondly, the direct object relative clauses prior to the indirect object relative clauses, indirect object relative clauses prior to relative clauses in prepositional object; whole-part genitive relative clause prior to temporary genitive relative clauses, temporary genitive relative clause prior to Kinship relative clause. Standard Deviation Analysis showed:there is a small difference in the acquisition of subject relative clauses by the foreign students. There is a little small difference in the acquisition of topic relative clauses and genitive relative clauses by foreign students. There is a big difference in the acquisition of object relatives. These cases illustrate with the improvement of Chinese, the relative clause are learned better.In the fifth chapter, we survey the number and types of relative clauses appear in the "New Practical Chinese Reader" (first four volumes) and "Bridge" (upper and lower volumes).In line with the current teaching materials of relative clauses as well as the results of corpus investigation and questionnaire test, we put forward suggestions in teaching methods and preparation of teaching materials.
