"Anatta Theory " is a core concept in Taoism, which has the vital significance leads to the "Peripateticism" state.Peripateticism is the supreme state of the Taoist pursuit, but had unexpectedly also prescribes an aesthetic realm, constitute the main body of Chinese art spirit.Sage has no self, to reach the state of Peripateticism, Anatta is a necessary step in Taoist way.This paper mainly discusses the idea of Anatta,the possibility of Anatta,the purpose of Anatta and its aesthetic realm from the angle of Taoism.The expound of Tao, imitate the theory of "One Heart opens Two Gates" architecture in Awakening of Mahayana Faith,to discribe lao-zi’s theory of "Being" and "not Being", and the process of Enlightenment.Zhuang-zi and Lao-zi’s theory of Anatta, reflected in their attitude to body, emotion, desire, and knowledge.Body, emotions, desires, knowledge, woven into the concept of "I", which is a barrier, make us getting farther and farther apart from Tao.So zhuang-zi takes negative attitude to human’s body, emotions, desires, knowledge, in a word, Anatta.But Anatta is not the purpose, it is a way, the Taoist emphasis Anatta is to let us see Tao, and Tao appeared in people, is Heart. So there is no me concerning the fundamental, is the mind.Here,the author take a view of "One Heart opens Two Gatesas" as a cut,which lead to the main idea of the paper.Mou Tsung-San argues that "One Heart opens Two Gates" architecture can be used as a universal philosophical framework, which can be applied to Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism. The author thought his view is very insightful, it provided a foothold, a perspective to re-examine, in which the author attempts to use such a framework to understand what zhuang-zi and Lao-zi said, their Tao and the way to reach Tao,and why Anatta occupies such an important position in this process.Lao-zi’s Tao body opens "Being" and "not Being", can be seen as a typical "One Heart opens Two Gates"as architecture.One Heart, is to emphasize a state of integrated mass, Beyond the opposition between subject and object.Everything is the imaging of Tao, so as the Heart.If we cognize things independent of all things, Tao will become something outside our existence.But the physical, emotional consciousness and thought, also is Tao.In men, that is internalized into Heart, this is inherent in the true way.Realize this, we can cast off the detachment of "I",and see the hidden Tao inside ourselves.In addition, about if Anatta will stifle passion and put life into nihility, the author also quote Nietzsche and his dionysian-superman to make a comparison.Through comparing Nietzsche’s superman against the world, author believe that it will be better to explain the meaning of Anatta, and the universe as a concept.Actually, Anatta itself is a state of beauty of transparent, but is not the beauty of the world, the phenomenon which is the opposite of ugliness, it’s "heaven and earth have big beauty without words" in an united state,it is the beauty of the Tao body’s flowing living and vitality, it is the beauty of the unity of freedom, a permanent state of mind, everything is beautiful.This is the aesthetic realm of Anatta Theory.
