Practice And Research Of Contradictory Space From Simplification

Any real object is developing in its own potential law. When an objective image is simplified through imagination, simple points, simple lines, simple surfaces are get together, or complicated space is broken or recombined, As a result, a new relation of space and logic is established. I tried to use clumsy expression to explore space by simplifying common local space, to map and suppose magical laws of this large universe, to explore the meaning and value of life. During this period, I analyzed and researched on simplifing and manufacturing contradictory space in folk arts and masters’ works in my personal practice, and summarized commonness and individuality. In addition, analyzed relationships between imagination, simplification and contradictory space and show them in practice.This thesis consists of preface and main part and main part consists of three parts. The first part mainly described contradictory space is formed from imagination and simplification. Which focus on imagination breaks up objective law. Simplification is an expression of spirit. Formation of contradictory space in imagination. The second part mainly described using and feedback about human practice activities on imagination, simplification and contradictory space. Which focus on simplification which formed from imagination is an important skill in original painting. Simplified figure in children’s painting are formed through imagination. The importance in imaginary thought and simplified skill of folk art. The similarity of different ways and results in human practice. Coordination of imagination and simplification in masters’ works. The third part mainly described personal practice of contradictory space formed from simplification. Which focuses on exploration of contradictory space. Imagination produced simplified contradictory space. This thesis will play an very important role in my works and theories in the future.
