| As an exotic painting type, watercolor painting has been evolving into the unique Chinese characteristics in our country with the aesthetic interest” The gorgeous fades only leaving simple nature ”, The poetic imagination images are produced by people who are induced by the natural world, that is the scenery within the painting elicits deeper emotions felt by the viewers. It is the breakthrough development in contemporary China to depict a poetic beauty based on western traditional painting approach which is rational and rigorous.This essay focuses on how to construct poetry of contemporary Chinese watercolor painting based on the theory of artistic conception. Firstly, analyze the reasons why contemporary Chinese watercolor painting pursues for poetic beauty, which results from 3 basis points, literati temperament in the watercolor language, the effect of landscape painting to watercolor painting and Chinese artists’ main body spirit.Secondly, through analyzing Chinese contemporary watercolor painters’ works, list different kinds of expressions for watercolor painting’s poetic beauty and further discuss the implementation method of the poetic beauty. Thirdly, discuss construction methods of poetic beauty according to composition of a picture, white space, and the expression of water taste. Finally, on the understanding of the implementation method in combination with contemporary watercolor works, through the analysis of different performance of poem, summarize how main body’s spirit, painting language and objective image are transferred in the heart of the viewers, explaining how to use watercolor painting language to create a poetic beauty in the paintings. |
