In the Iranian Islam reform revival process, the formation of various Islam reform thought and its practice were deeply influenced by the Western religion culture in several aspects. One of the most famous thought is"Islamic Protestantism"in Iran. But the research about it is much less in China. On the basis of reading a lot reference material, the author analyzed the aspect in Iran "Islamic Protestantism"which absorbed the essence of western Christen reformation. This thesis tells the social and cultural background and development of "Islamic Protestantism"in Iran and its characteristics through the thought of some pioneers, such as Jamal ad-Din al-Afghani, Ali al-Shari’at, Hashem Aghajari and other "Islamic Protestantism". Comparing the religion reformation in European with Iran, this thesis focuses on the great vitality and effect of the Christian Protestant Reformation in Islamic world. The difference between Iran "Islamic Protestantism" and other Islam reformation thought is presented. Although the "Islamic Protestantism" is not well systematic and organizational, it do provides a theoretical ideology which satisfies the history and the society, and it makes the Muslim recognize that the Islam could adjust itself to the modern society which had the important influence to the world.
