There are four representative dramas of Ibsen selected by the author. As follows: Peer Gynt, A doll’s house, Romsersholm and When we dead awaken. By tracing the plots step by step and analysing the personality and the fate of characters from the perspective of fateful entanglement between men and women, the author tried to analyse the unfortunate encounter between heros and heroines of four dramas in the way of’entering the life itself, then attempted to dig out the fateful truth of the misplacement between men and women. Each drama is planned to be a concrete case in the same theme, which is’the research and the response to the life and fate’. Then, the author analysed the unfortunate encounter and the fate of concrete characters under the particular background, and attempted to reveal research and responses of life and fate proved by themselves which appears in factual daily tragedy. On analysing the dramas, this paper consists of these research:one’s self-materialization and transcendence, affordding and self-redemption to the impureness and breaking of one’s life, the truth of human’s broken existential foundation,’the antinomy of women themselves’and so on.Above all, the author also analysed the nature of misplacemet concisely. The misplacemet is neither between one and the other, nor between one and himself, but between the different natures of an individual’s fate; furthermore, it is the very misplacement of human themselves which is made by the self-antinomy of the nature of human’s fate. Therefore, the misplacement appears the whole life processes permeating the world of life and the mental time and space, which is the inextricable fate of human beings; so, the misplacement has become a fateful truth that an individual have to afford what he never could.
