A Research On Martin Luther’s Biblical Hermeneutics In The Modern Hermeneutics Persective

This paper attempts to analyze the relationship between the literalsense and spiritual sense in the interpretation of the Bible, to elaboratethe source, basic structure and premise of Martin Luther’s biblicalhermeneutics theory of Scripture interprets itself, which couldconcluded as a kind of Sacred Author-Center hermeneutics theory.Based on this theory, the paper unfold the relationship between SacredAuthor and Truth Requirements，and highlight the theoretical tensionbetween Martin Luther’s biblical hermeneutics theory and ModernHermeneutics.The thesis consists of four sections. The first part investigates thetheoretical and social background of Luther’s theory, tries to hackle thetwo traditional tendencies of biblical hermeneutics, then review the socialcircumstances to reveal the source of Luther’s biblical hermeneutics. Thesecond part describes the formation process of Luther’s biblicalhermeneutics. This part studies Luther’s theological position in differentperiods, tries to explain the formation of Luther’s biblical hermeneuticstheory. The third part analyzes cycling structure interior and premise ofLuther’s exegesis, which has the principles of Scripture interprets itselfas its main content, and concludes it to a Sacred Author-Centerhermeneutics. The fourth part, points out the Truth Requirements inLuther’s biblical hermeneutics，and discusses the different settlements ofthe Truth Requirements after Luther.
