Space exhibition is a best undertaker for the performance and communication of the regional culture and has unique advantages and a sense of responsibility for the protect of the regional culture. This dissertation analyses the application, the inheritance and continuation of the regional culture..The2010Shanghai World Expo becomes a new opportunity for the regional culture. Many countries, districts, companies and international organizations show a lot of regional culture characteristics under the theme of "Better city, better life". From the appearance to the space of the pavilion, via all forms of media and methods, the Expo expresses a strong concept region and this has a deep influence of the regional culture in space design.The study takes the regional culture in the design of exhibition space on as the object and understands the developing process of the ideological trends on regional architecture through the conceptual analysis of the regional culture. It takes Qilu culture as the premise of the study, as a typical regional culture and figures out the time features of Qilu culture through the research on the general development and the culture intergration in Qilu cultureThe study on exhibition space mainly takes spaces in large-scale exhibition design, museum design and commercial display design as starting points, starts from the research on the developing process and current situation of the design of exhibition space, through the analysis on typical cases, concludes the expression principles that suit to reginal culture,conscientitiously understands and analyses regional culture, expresses regional culture with modern designing art and insists on the guidance of regional culture.
