After starting from the audience study angle of trans-culture communication, taking theoretical analysis method of "Coding/Decoding" of Stuart Hall as the reference, showing two original documentaries from CCTV, getting and analyzing the primary data from30American college students with the depth interview and deep description methods, we found the decoding ways from the interviewees showed certain hierarchy and diversity and were affected by the factors such as the identity, medium experience and the coding strategy and so on.
