Nowadays, plastic surgery is more and more popular among women of different ages and different jobs. Faced with this phenomenon, some women hold that the body belongs to themselves and taking plastic surgery is their active choice; others think that the reason that women choose plastic surgery is to fight against the inequality in society. Thus, here comes the question: what on earth is the living condition of the female taking plastic surgery? With the approach of Cultural Discourse Studies, the research presents the living difficulty of the female under the discipline of patriarchal culture and consumer culture through taking plastic surgery as a discursive event.Specifically, to make a comprehensive presentation of the female’s living condition, the voices of different subjects which mainly include the female, the male and the plastic surgery hospital are presented through the analysis of rich data collected from news, online research and online discussions. Moreover, through discourse theories of Foucault and the method of Cultural Discourse Studies, the discursive event is explored through the analysis of speakers, contents, forms, media and results.Through the discursive analysis of female face-lifting events, it is evident that due to the loss of aesthetic subjectivity and the aphasia of the female, the female takes her body as the enemy and suffers from aesthetic violence. In addition, under the discipline of the knowledge that beauty is an important capital, the ability and quality of the female are neglected. However, the female could build her own arts of existence through examining the discourse and listening to her inner voice.
