Study On The Word Order Of Huainanzi

This paper we selected Huainanzi which was completed in the early Xihan Dynasty as the study object. Based on the description and analysis of various types of Chinese word order in Huainanzi, we can clearly get the specific changs of word order in Huainanzi. In addition, I also put forward my own views on some language phenomena in the process of generalization of word order development characteristics in the book.The thesis is mainly composed of six chapters, and the second, third fouth and fifth chapters of which are the main part, the first chapter is the introduction and the sixth is conclusion.The first chapter states the research on word order, describes the status and research value of Huainanzi, as well as the research content and research methods.The second chapter introduces the types and development of prepositive objects, carried out a detailed study on pronoun and the position of it when it is as the object of a sentence. The third chapter begins to sort out the development route of the pronoun, the prem predicate and the prepositional phrases in Huainanzi, then do a contrast,from that we can get the status of above in the book. The fourth chapter focuses on discussing the relationship between the number and the noun phrases, and learned that it nearly has no development in the book when compared to the pre-Qin Dynasty. The fifth chapter mainly discusses the attributive postposition and possible type of word order of Huainanzi, so that the whole article in the content become more enrichment.The sixth chapter is to summarizes the whole thesis. What’s more, I also have come up with some factors which may be influencing the Chinese word order.In the process of studying the word order status of Huainanzi, this paper also illustrates several problems:(1)Analysis of the concept of "word order" and "constituent order", and put forward the two terms have no substantive difference.(2)Summarizes the development course of object preposing and explain the preposition motivation. Personally think that in addition to pragmatics and focus theory, have implications for the development of Chinese pronouns and the prosodic characteristics of position of the object in a sentence. The prosodic features and the development of Chinese pronoun have a certain influence on the position of the object in a sentence.(3)Word order change prepositional phrase is not only affected by the Chinese way of thinking and of disyllable, also has a relationship with whether the predicate is complex or not.(4)Postpositive attribute and no fixed structure form,it needs to be analyzed in specific environment.Research methods used in this paper is mainly statistics, synchronic and diachronic analysis and analysis method in Linguistic typology.
