A Streetcar Named Desire, one of the most classical plays in American literature, is the masterpiece of Tennessee William. Critics always analyze her personality and love in the light of ethics. The Interpretation of Dreams written by Freud in1899gave him the name of "The Father of Personality Psychology". Freud closely studied the correlation between personality and behaviours. Furthermore, the relationship between personality and fate is also discussed to explain the choices of characters when they face problems like living, dignity, love and family.Based on the above interpretations, a conclusion is drawn that "Personality determines destiny".
