The profound political, socio-economic and cultural changes that have takenplace in the Russian Federation during the last decades of the20th century haveaffected language community. In connection with this study, processes ofbilingualism, from the point of view of the theory and practice of social Linguisticshave a particular relevance. Change the language of the life dictate the need for acomprehensive study of current status of bilingualism.Burat-Russian bilingualism is part of the overall problem of bilingualism,which takes place in the multinational Russia. In the territories of the three entities ofthe Russian Federation of the Republic of Buryatia, Agin-Buryat autonomous state(ABAO),Ust-Orda Buryat autonomous state,Burat-Russian bilingualism is a realityof the modern society.After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Russia become in a complex ofhistorical and cultural heritage of the Russian Federation, multi-ethnic country.Russia inherited the complex relations among multi-ethnic heritage.The paper current status due to the bilingualism of this thesis in cross-culturalcommunication and cultural analysis of the reasons for the necessity of the integrationprocess. Ethnic studies, cultural research methods that can help us identify andsynthesize research on ethnic values of the positive experiences of cultural integrationin the process of language communication research, involves a wide range oftheoretical and methodological aspects of the understanding of the interaction.This paper as an example of the Buryat Republic of the Russian Federation,keep the analyze of Republic of Buryatia, in the concept of bilingualism as asocio-cultural phenomenon in a different cultural and social nature of the socio-linguistic research in intercultural communication.This paper introduces the theory of bilingualism to determine features ofbilingualism, and describes the current situation in the world of bilingualism. Thisknowledge helps to understand the bilingualism of the Buryatia Republic, gives us acomprehensive analysis and understanding of the region’s priorities. Analysis RussianRepublic of Buryat language questions and the Buryat language development factors。General language of the Buryat Republic in the Russian Federation has a very goodfuture, just need to work and the language policy of tolerance.Improving this paper identified a number of Russian buriat and developmentmeasures of the Buryat Republic. In order to improve the linguistic situation of theRepublic, you can apply the recommendations and findings of this paper.Information in this paper can be applied linguistics, applied linguistics andsociolinguistics in the course of the lecture.
