In recent years, documentary industry has been considerable development in China, whichincludes a diversified of creation approach, the continuously enrich of broadcasting platform, thefurther improve of industrial chain and so on. Meanwhile, with the continuous development ofeconomic and cultural in China, the impact of industrial civilization has been deep into allaspects of social life. After people meeting basic material needs of life, the spiritual and culturalconsumption has become an urgent demand. Consumption has become an important culturalfeature in contemporary era. In the era of consumer culture, the humanities documentary creativeprocess tends to be a big production, specialization and refined model. Now the creation ofhumanistic documentary has changed a lot in creative ideas, creative approach, creative featuresand other aspects relative to the news political commentary after the founding and the elitewriting style in1980s. The article make an objective analysis on the issue of the creation ofcontemporary humanities documentary based on consumer cultural context, in order to explorewriting style changes of humanities documentary at the cultural context of consumer and tomake enlightenment to the creation of humanistic documentary.First, the author provide an overview on the basic concept of consumer culture, humanisticdocumentary. And have a basis summary on the creation overview of humanities documentarycurrently. Two European Industrial Revolution is an important cornerstone for the West entryinto the consumer society. The consumer culture rise gradually along with the arrival of theconsumer society and it is also showing a variety of property characteristics in the developmentprocess. After China’s reform and opening up, the connection of consumption and political,economic, cultural ties closer. The consumer culture also presents a unique Chinese form. Thehumanistic documentary will inevitably involve issues of aesthetic and consumption in theprocess from small congregation to the public.Second, the author research the humanities documentary creative ideas in the era ofconsumer culture. In the context of consumer culture, the creation evolution of humanitiesdocumentary first began in creative ideas, different in aesthetic needs, change of creative consciousness, making the cultural characteristics of humanistic documentary changing. In thehumanities documentary creative ideas, the author selected four aspects which are consumertendency, character creation and poetic expression, aesthetic life tendency, human feelings andvalues for a more systematic discussion. These four aspects are the most significant feature of thepresent humanistic documentary creative ideas and is the positive change for humanitiesdocumentary in adapt consumer cultural environment.Third, the author make depth study about writing style of nowadays humanitiesdocumentary from narrative style, choice of perspective, true reconstruction, the visual languagefour aspects of humanities documentary. The story type narrative is indispensable, and settingsuspense, prominent contradictions, change the rhythm are the primary means of story typenarrative. Selecting of creative perspective is more abundant and plain. but we found that inorder to make works closing to life and with depth, the various perspectives need to combine.Scenario reproduction is an important creative approach of humanities documentary now, as aideographic fictional language, it has played an effective link role for documentary breakpoint,but the true reproduction is only an auxiliary creative means for humanistic documentary.Documentary is the real purpose and fundamental principles. For using audio-visual language,the richness, aestheticism, implied meaning of present humanistic documentary visual languageare especially characteristics compared with the past.Fourth, the author research creative features of humanities documentaries from thehumanities documentary entertainment, novelty, culture three aspects. Humanities documentarycreative features is overall aesthetic attributes built on humanistic documentary creative ideasand creative approach. Entertainment is overall characteristics of humanities documentary in aconsumer culture background. And it is an important means to attract viewers and win market forhumanities documentary. Novelty is not the ultimate goal of humanistic documentary, but it is anecessary creative way, and only the delicate capturein under humanities documentary novelty,in order to truly reflect the social, reflect the contradictions, in order to truly enter the mind andemotions of the audience. Cultural is the aesthetic reflection made by humanities documentaryon people and society, now and history. It is the elite mind and spirit representative of humanisticdocumentary.Finally, the author summarizes research of humanistic documentary creationin era of consumer culture, and discuss the humanities documentary creation trends in the era of consumerculture.
