Chinese language teaching in Turkey has marched a long way in recent years, a growing numbers of local schools have adapted Chinese language class. However, researches on Chinese language teaching in Turkey are far from enough.During my internship as a volunteer Chinese teacher in Confucius Institute of Middle East Technical University in Ankara, researches have been proceeded through observing model lectures, as well as conducting interviews and questionnaires on both teachers and students from all Chinese teaching sites in the area. Thus, a profound knowledge of current achievement and problems of Trinity project of Chinese teaching in Ankara area, or even the whole Turkey has been acquired.Afterwards, classifications and analysis have been made with an aim to propose Some potential solutions for those problems and to fill the gap to some extent in terms of Trinity Project of Chinese teaching in Ankara area as well as provide some references to Chinese Teaching in Turkey, thus completing survey and research report on Trinity Project of Chinese Teaching in Ankara area.Starting with the fundamental situation of Trinity Project of Chinese teaching in Ankara area, main thesis is illustrated in the following aspects, such as introduction, objectives and significances of research, relevant bibliography, definitions and theoretical perspective. The first chapter makes a general introduction to Chinese teaching in Ankara area and research proposal of Trinity Project. the second chapter presents the data and statistics on Chinese teaching Trinity Project in Ankara areas through a combination of questionnaires, interviews and model lectures. In the third chapter, major problems concerned about Chinese teaching Trinity Project in Ankara areas and their causes have been illustrated according to research results.As far as Chinese teacher is concerned, there is a severe shortage of local Chinese teachers, their professional proficiency varies from person to person and the sustainable development of this industry is worrying. when it comes to Chinese textbook, there are fewlocalized Chinese textbooks, the available textbooks target less on local students and the supplementary textbooks and relative reading materials are insufficient.In teaching method respect, taking English as medium language increases the difficulty of Chinese teaching and part of teaching methods are not scientific and reasonable. In the fourth chapter, in response to the issues of "Trinity Project" of Chinese Teaching, this thesis puts forward corresponding improvement schemes including the training of local Chinese teachers and optimization of teaching force.In terms of textbook, textbooks fitting concrete national conditions ought to be compiled and more opportunities concerning the availability of Chinese reading materials are supposed to be provided.As far as teaching method is concerned, this thesis reckons that teachers training activities should be organized; unified institutional norms for Chinese teaching should be formulated.To conclude the research, main structure and in sufficiency of this thesis will be analyzed and presented for further references.
