Population migration has been one of the driving force of historical development, as the migrants globally expanding, the immigration problem is more and more cause the attention of governments and academic circles. Myanmar now group of Indian origin can be traced back to the second half of the19th century the establishment of the British colonial rule in Burma. British colonial rule, the Indian people to migrate to myanmar, as Burma’s development and the development provides a rich labor resources, alleviate the predicament of the labor shortages. After myanmar’s independence, the Indian immigrants inflows as Burma one of the important power of economic development, not only promoted the development of the productivity in Burma, and accelerated the process of modernization and urbanization. However, the Indian immigrants inflows also brought some negative effects, such as economic development, may cause problems such as imbalance employment opportunities and labor surplus; Cultural diversity can lead to the Burmese nationalist for Indian people disgust and hatred, triggering Burmese human conflict with India.Myanmar indians inflows is the product of the combination of many factors, namely multiethnic fusion policies in the UK, convenient transportation by sea, myanmar to the influence of external factors such as the attraction of the indians, also has the period of British colonial India domestic environment and the influence of the internal factors such as people make a living in India. This article through to the Indian people migrate myanmar’s history, detailed analyze the Indian agent and distribution state of migration in myanmar, focus on the analysis of the effect of Indian immigrants in Burma. Finally, based on the research of the Burmese people in India, to "overseas indians" research this topic.
