Plain Care-the Realistic Figure Paintig Which Influenced By "Xu Jiang System" Inspires My Creation

Realism ink figure painting is a product of the Ink as time goes by. Realism believes that art should reflect the beauty in real life, expose the ugly and express the inner world. The traditional ink figure painting obviously can’t express the voice of the times of "realism" from "freehand brushwork". Then Chinese ink figure painting began a long history from "traditional" to "modern". It is deeply influenced by the western realistic sketch and massively absorbed nutrients from the traditional paintings during that period. By constantly practice, a new form come into being——the realistic ink figure painting.The art exploration of Xu Beihong and Jiang Zhaohe has paved the way for the foundation for the formation of realistic ink portrait. Xu Beihong is the first people who put system sketch into traditional pen and ink practice. Jiang Zhaohe has made some Chinese-style improvement on the basis of Xu Beihong."Xu Jiang System" has played a important role in the reform of Chinese ink-figure-painting. Not only influenced the painting since the20th century, but also provided direct reference experience for the prosperity of realistic portrait. Today’s realism ink figure is still the mainstream of the painting, and there are many adherents who do the new exploration. Therefore, the realistic ink figure painting still has profound research value today.
