The end of the western Zhou dynasty, the royal family declined,the governors rose, and the history of our country has entered thespring and autumn period. In the period, the governors foughtconstantly, in order to get rid of the fate of the law of the jungle,State of Jin reformed actively, be the powerful nation, hold thehegemony of the spring and autumn period as long as150yearsmore, become the first of the five overlords in the spring andautumn period. It is puzzling that State of Jin was not swallowed byenemy, but it divided by Han Zhao and Wei which became strong byenjoying the interest of reform, finally. The reasons of their strongand the state of Jin divided was the reform.In the history of Jin, the reform involved all kind of field.Suchas politics, economy, military, law etc. The reform is just like adouble-edged sword, blazing a way forward for the state of Jin, butleft shortcomings for the development of its future. The reform ofJin promoted the development, but there are problem. The problemsexisting in the state of Jin in all previous reforms cannot be solved,increasingly seriously, eventually led to the destruction of thecountry. This paper focus on the political reform of Jin’s office, byanalyzing the reasons, contents of all political reform in six hundred years of Jin to explore the connection of the politicalreforms and their impacts on the fate of the state of Jin.
