In the information age nowadays, human beings possess even more open field of visions. Theirvisible things have expanded from an intuitively natural world to a wider and deeper area, andconventional perspective has been unable to meet the psychological needs for vision of modernhuman. Therefore, it is very necessary to make graphics research from a new, multi-angle andunconventional perspective today.Taking the global “stream†as the perspective and a starting point, this paper aims to interpretthe “stream†state of people’s life nowadays by means of graphic language. From the perspective ofdiscovering the social phenomenon, the graphic image is made, with the expectation of solving theoriginality and multi-dimension problems of graphic design from a wide range of aspects. In thepaper, the “stream†has two meanings: one is a worldwide and global state of “streamâ€, and theother is the graphic “streamâ€. In the visual view of artistic design, the “stream†is also one of thebasic principles of a design. Oriented as it is, the “stream†guides some sense of direction, andmeanwhile, it is built in our aesthetic taste. With the advance of the age and along with the differingof the vision, the form construction of graphic “stream†has produced differences as well. From macro to micro angle and from generally visible to particularly visible aspect, the“stream†can be roughly divided into3categories: one is the regional “streamâ€, whose mainrepresentatives include the crowd flow, traffic flow, city flow, and others; second is theinformational “streamâ€, including the so-said information flow, and knowledge flow, etc.; and thirdis the biological “streamâ€, such as cells, blood vessels, neurons, proteins, and so on. The modernway of life has been interpreted by different “streams†from different angles. This paper annotates avariety of “stream†based on the graphical perspective, with the intent to express modern way of lifein a visible way and present new perspectives and viewpoints for researching basic graphics. Through the induction and analysis of “streamâ€, the basic graphics and visual symbolic languageare studied. This paper focuses on studying the innovativeness of the visual language of graphic “streamâ€.Through the study of the graphic “streamâ€, it attempts to interpret the “stream†living status ofpeople in nowadays society through graphics on one hand, and finishes the graphic research from anew viewpoint and perspective on the other hand. |
