There is an important difference in the editing the history textbooks between the Republic of Korea’s New Right and the Right-wing forces in Japan; one for the former is hasn’t cause for concern of the neighbors. Mostly due to the neighbors are focuses on the study of Japan’s history of aggression.Firstly, the New Right’s history textbooks are respecting the theory of The Japanese Colonial modernization, only focusing on the growth of economic, disparaging patriotic personages such as An Jung-geun and Kim Gu, etc. as terrorists; the nations of the Republic of Korea are unable to tolerate the way of regarding Military Comfort Women as prostitution group.Secondly, covering Syngman Rhee’s crime of fission country, and glorify his "father of nation " for the Republic of Korea, which impossible to approval by the most people of the Republic of Korea.And then comes to the Park Chung Hee, New Right not only overgeneralizations, but also do not accord with the objective reality, they only pay a tribute to his economic development, pursuing and admiring him the "father of modernism" ignoring his faults of political dictatorship and human rights abuses.Finally, New Rights explaining the modern history of the Republic of Korea by using the standard based on the doubtable theory of the new liberalism and its economic development is absurdly and fraudulently, may misleading the youths. Most of its theories are fault, but not without merit. The descriptions by the Korean progress historiography are full of dark and decline, which give an opportunity that can be exploited to New Right’s advantage. However, Korean progress historiography critical to the New Right has been deviated from its original, total negation new right’s options and activities, which means go to the other extreme.The bad influence of misleading the youth generation is non-predicative. Caution the neighboring countries to develop the common-historical cognition, such historical responsibility and consciousness like "respecting and accepting each other countries’ histories" and "Reduction of the truth" should being rooted in progress of editing the textbooks.
