AbstractSince Feng-zheng Jia-zu(《风筝家族》)written by Hon Lai-chu won the newcomer award served by Unitas, people in Mainland,Hongkong and Taiwan paid more attention to Hon’s literary works than ever before.Hon’s fiction keeps her unique style and show her view on human’s living.Although Hon Lai-chu have won plenty of awards, there is limited discussions on her works. In her imagine fiction world, the daily life Hon Lai-chu described was different to the realistic one,and the words that Hon used had been interpreted by Hon Lai-chu herself, which made her works was a little bit bewildering to readers. This paper takes alienation, body and gender as three main observation points,to show Hon Lai-chu’s deep thinking on human’s living:(a)In the capitalist society, how do the people face the alienation?(b)How the socialized body respond to social discipline?(c) With acute gender consciousness, Hon Lai-chu has challenged the gender ideology and heteronormativity. These issues are so important that they can not be missed when the researchers investigate Hon Lai-chu’s literary works.
