More specifically, when Dennett looking at mind, he does not inherit the traditional dualism of body and mind and not follow the study of Phenomenology, but construction of exclusive Dennett’s theory of consciousness; The heterophenmenology of Dennett is an essential part of the philosophy of mind, also it provides a grounding of the theory who establishes his entire consciousness system.The paper discusses the theory of quale based on Dennett’s heterophenomenology, and analyzes the essence that stays in the Dennett’s whole awareness theoretical system, as well as the essence of heterophenmenology theory builds the significance and influence of the Dennett’s philosophy of mind. This paper is divided into four parts to analyze the shift sensitivity issues and reflect the importance of Dennett’s heterophenmenology theory by sensitivity issues. First part describes the sensitivity issues the origin and related impacts in the history of philosophy. The second part Dennett introduces content of heterophenmenology theory and solutions of sensitivity issues, which express the shift dealing with sensitivity issues. The third part argues the philosophical tendency of Dennett’s heterophenmenology theory in naturalism, functionalism and pragmatic. The forth part summarizes the status influence of heterophenmenology theory in the whole Dennett’s consciousness theory system, and the construction of heterophenmenology theory offers a new perspective to the Western philosophy of mind.
