In this study, the researcher view The Walking Dead series and "The Walking Dead" Baidu Post Bar as the research object, and use Hall encoding and decoding theory as the breakthrough point, aiming to see the fans decoding behavior in the Internet, at the same time,analyzed the encoding of the text.In the aspect of encoding, the researchers analyzed The Walking Dead from four aspects:characters, themes, plots, ideology and values.At the same time, the researcher analyzed source and derivative of the TV text in the environment of Internet, including cartoon, special, spin-offs Fear The Walking Dead, electronic games, theme talk show The Talking Dead, subtitle groups.In the decoding, the researchers analyzed "The Walking Dead "Baidu Post Bar 2969 sampling stick for quantitatively, and analyzed the specific content of the post for qualitative.The main findings are as follows:In the aspect of encoding, because of the cross cultural communication of TV text, the situation appears that the subtitle group produce two times encoding.The TV text has been extended in the Internet space, and gradually "out of the center".Including TV dramas, fictional type of works of art’s meaning is uncertain.The encoding aspects is difficult to control the decoding aspects in the dominant hegemonic position.Through code, Television maybe can control the audience " what to think", but the control force of "how to think", "what to do" is very weak.In the decoding,based on the development of the Internet and the new media technology, the identity of TV drama "fans" encoders may change into the decoders of its original content.The passion of other fans decoding the TV series will transfer to the original works.Differences may appear between the decoders,even build up walls between each compartment in the network virtual space and launched the war of words.In some cases, the decoders may seek an alliance in order to achieve a common purpose.Under the network environment, the three decoding mode exposed its limitations.Decoding is no longer limited to TV understanding, the audience jump out of the scope and framework and acting in a variety of forms of carnival.
