Tao Sheng Weekly is an important literature journal in the 1930s China. It had always been a unique gesture walked between the Left-wing Literature and Liberalist Literature in a bizarre early 30s. Under the effort of Cao Juren, Tao Sheng brought together a group of Literary legends and a number of outstanding young writers, such as Lu Xun,Chen Wangdao,Tao Xingzhi,Chen Zizhan,Cao Liwu,Zhou Muzhai,Li Youran,Yang Jiyun. Tao Sheng respected rational doctrine which called "Crow". Due to the effects of age and the influence of major contributors, Tao Sheng brought a little "left" mark. It was a centre-left literature publication.As a weekly which retained a large number of literature historical data, Tao Sheng was only mentioned in the study of Lu Xun and Cao Juren for years. This article attempts to do systematic pectination and research on Tao Sheng in order to provide convenience to the modern and contemporary Chinese literature.This article contains five chapters.The introduction outlines existing research about Tao Sheng and analyzes feasibility. The main part of paper covers three chapters. The three chapters are "Tao Sheng weekly’s overview"," The main editors and writers of Tao Sheng" and "The attitude of Tao Sheng. The first chapter cleans up Tao Sheng’s founding background, publication, ceased publication, the final issue and basic shapes. The second chapter introduces the main editors and writers, distinguish their pseudonym and analyze their writing style. The third chapter illustrates Tao Sheng’s attitude from its purpose, the editor’s attitude, special issue, critical style, the relationship between Tao Sheng and thirty-year literature. The last chapter is the conclusion. Tao Sheng was a center-left literature journal, and it was the representation that patriotic intellectuals rational criticize reality in 1930s.
