“The moon sheds her liquid light silently over the leaves and flowers,which, in the floating transparency of a bluish haze from the pond, look as if they had just been bathed in milk, or like a dream wrapped in a gauzy hood.” The prose of “Moonlight over the Lotus Pond” which expressed that the true beauty is no word, the true music is no voice, and the true truth is simple by Mr. Zhu ziqing’s Prose is just like one refinement paint. At the same time the Chinese great painters always hoped to wake up the love in people’s inner heart for nature by showing the beauty of nature through unique aesthetic perspective.In Lotus theme painting the summary of the elders is very important,but the artist more while using these laws will have their own unique insights, has its own form of ink. I choose the autumn lotus as the object because of the pond that "dry autumn trees bend" the autumn sense can always attract me. This strong desire to let me collect relevant autumn lotus material, that used for the new creation "Crescent is coming with autumn deepen ".This paper was divided into three chapters, the first chapter mainly elaborated about the origin of the theme of Lotus; the second chapter described the process of painting. Base on the thinking and learning of the previous creators’ works, I realized the lack of my works, andgradually overcome them in my painting to improve my levels. The third chapter of the paper mainly expressed the experience of creating the work of Lotus which under the name of "Crescent is coming with autumn deepen ".Although the work inevitably has some deficiencies which maybe caused by my immature skill of painting and the lower level of cultural realm and ideological cultivation, I only hope this work expressed my pure love for Chinese Painting.
