| “The numeral words are the word combination of digital characters made, and they no longer represent the number of, or in addition to that there are other meanings than the number, therefore represents the number of numerals are different.” The numeral words often reflects a philosophy of nation, religion, aesthetic psychology, customs and so on, so the numeral words’ meaning rich, diverse forms of expression, the virtual meaning of the numeral words more generally. These brought a lot of difficulties for a foreign language teaching numeral words. In this paper, starting from the characteristics of the numeral words of teaching and the foreign language teachers and the special object of foreign students, we research numeral words connotations, which made a number of recommendations for foreign teaching Chinese.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first part discusses the background and research status of this topic, as well as previous research methods and ideas presented.The first chapter defines the numerals and the numeral words, and analyzes the differences and connections between numerals and numeral words, as well as the basic characteristics ofnumeral words, motivation and development direction.The second chapter discusses the numeral words of teaching, which is the focus of this paper.The main contents include:the numeral words meaning mostly virtual means, the numeral word in idioms and acronyms more,numeral words contain a wealth of cultural heritage. This part also include numeral word problems and the current situation and the reasons for teaching Chinese in foreign. The third chapter discusses numeral word teaching contents: teaching numeral words about the daily life, the teaching of network words,the teaching of numeral idioms and the cultural numeral words these four aspects. Besides,this chapter also discourses my suggestions for teaching numeral words in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.The last part is the conclusion about this paper. |
