With the rapid development of economic society, the 21 st century world’s science and technology competition between each country in final is the talent competition, to cultivate high quality talents with comprehensive quality had become the theme of the pursuit of contemporary society. In June 1999, The CPC central committee and The state council issued "on deepening the education reform, comprehensively promote quality education decision", put forward the fundamental idea of quality education, Pointed out that "to cultivate the students’ innovation spirit and practice ability as the key point, to make the successors of the socialist cause with ideal, morality, culture, discipline, beauty of morality, intelligence and physique of comprehensive development." At present our counties quality education has been vigorously advocated and implemented, and became the basic spirit of the present stage of China’s educational goals. Music education is an effective way and important part of the implementation of quality education, in terms of students’ humanistic quality and improves the aesthetic qualities played an important role.Our country is multi-ethnic, and Inner Mongolia is one of the minority enclaves. Music education is not only able to develop national culture, enhance national quality, but also has to promote national unity and spiritual heritage of national culture plays a subtle role. Improve music literacy minority areas, not only the responsibility of educators, but also the need to promote national and regional development. Piano education in music education is an integral part of aesthetic education, to improve the overall quality of students and cultivate innovative thinking, implement quality education, enhance and enrich students’ musical literacy and cultural life plays an irreplaceable role.In a strong proponent of quality education background, the research visited schools and representative training institutions of piano in Xing’an, the northeastern part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Analysis and study of the current situation of education in ethnic minority areas of piano and make feasible suggestions to the existing unreasonableness of the current situation of education in the region of Piano.This paper is divided into five parts.At the beginning of the thesis is introduction. This section describes the origin and significance of research, content and methods, research status and the overview of piano education development in minority areas in Inner; the first chapter introduced the piano education under the Education Background: piano education is an important means to achieve quality education, and therefore advocate piano education’s basic idea "people-oriented", build a diversified education system, cultivate creative thinking and personality development of students, focus on training health aesthetic, pay attention to the organization of various types of piano practice, ultimately promote the overall development of students. The second chapter is the main part of this paper, introduced city overview and history of piano education of Xing’ an, and through questionnaires, interviews to students, teachers and parents about their situations, made a true reflection and arrange. The third chapter analyzed and researched the piano teaching of the students, teachers and parents in Xing’ an minority area.
