Kublai Khan’s Idea Of People-center Consideration

Kublai Khan was the second son of Tolui, a grandson of Genghis Khan, the successor of Yeke Mongghol Ulus, and the founder of Yuan dynasty. His idea of the people-center consideration is the essence of his political thoughts, and the important part of the history of Mongolian philosophy and social thought. First, this thesis examines the social foundation, the origin, and the development of the idea of people-center consideration. And then this paper analyze three important contents of this idea, give practical help in order to deliver the people, idea of peace and happiness, and the idea of enjoy happiness in peace, according to the success in every area, like social economy, legislation, cultural education, religion, trade, and social security etc. As the king of feudal society, Kublai khan’s idea of people-center consideration has certain class character. As the product of social history development, it has time characteristics. Having influenced greatly on guiding ideology of running the country, it is also practical. The idea of people-center consideration originated from mongolian nomadic culture, it is the essence of political thoughts that is well known all over the world. This thesis discusses Kublai khan idea of people-center consideration which is one of the most important parts of the history of mongolian political thoughts, shows the idea of sympathy to people that is worth learning, and praises the wisdom of Kublai Kjan.
