Research On The Degree Structure Of “V De Zheme/Name A”and Its Negative Forms

This paper analyzed “V de Zhe me or Na me A” and its negative forms by using Construction Grammar theory and three-dimension(syntactic, semantic and pragmatic)grammatical theory.The research results based on great amount of corpus which related to“V de Zhe me or Na me A”. Meanwhile, We combined methods of detailed classification and description interpreted relevant examples and data. This paper is mainly divided into the following four parts:From the aspect of syntactic, we analyzed the syllables, lexical features of variable“V “ and “ A" and its relationship of the structure of “V de Zhe me or Na me A”. We thought the variable "V" mainly with the feature of single syllable, its also include little double syllable words; variable “V “ appeared by the forms of single syllabic words, if double syllable words appeared in the structure of “V de Zhe me or Na me A” it most belong to the forms of two similar combined or verb complement. The variable "A"syllable appeared by the forms of single syllabic words either, some part of them followed by some double syllable and few of adjectives with the feature of multi syllable; On the lexicon part, Variable "A" has lot of relative adjectives and little descriptive adjectives and phrases. "V" and "A" shaped the forms of head word complement and descriptive head word. In terms of the syntactic function, the structure of “V de Zhe me or Na me A”can act as a sentence elements( predicate, object, attributive, adverbial, complement),sub-clause(commentary causal, cause and effect, carry on clause,) and separated sentence.The most common forms in the structure is predicate part in the sentence.From the aspect of semantics, we divided he variable "V" ideographic type into psychology, facial, hand and foot movements, direction trend movements, action by using tools and the abstract action; Verb in the structure of “V de Zhe me or Na me A” semantic features as following: [+ action][+spontaneity] and [-action][+spontaneity],then[-action][-spontaneity]. The variable "A" can divided into four categories: degree,quantity, emotional evaluation and physical; according to the data analysis of "A",we conclude that most part of “A” is neutral meanings, followed by positive and negative semantic meanings of words. The whole structure of “V de Zhe me or Na me A” has has semantic features of subjectivity and the description of the action.From the aspect of pragmatic, “V de Zhe me or Na me A” gived priority to declarative sentences, the interrogative and exclamatory sentences came to the second.The structure has the function of textual cohesion and topic description functions. Stylefeature give first place to the narrative style, followed by the dialogue style. To sum up,structure of “V de Zhe me or Na me A” has the stylistic features of colloquial and subjectivity.Finally, the article researched on the conversion mechanism of “zhe me” and “na me”. We thought there are three elements restrict their mutual transformation: lexical meaning, semantic negation structure selection and sentence expression. We also brief analyzed the influence of "bu" and "Mei" which appeared in different position of the “V de Zhe me or Na me A” brought to the n syntactic function and subjective negative effect.
