The Value Of The Imperial Examination Data In The Scholar’s Notes Of The Ming Dynasty

The Ming dynasty is the peak of the Imperial Examination System in the ancient of China. The Writing about Imperial Examination System in the Ming dynasty is countless. But for various reasons, some contents in the official records aren’t detailed enough, or some errors. It brings a certain difficulties to our research today. There are many related records of the Imperial Examination which exist in notes novel in Ming dynasty, and it can compensate to the lack of official history. This article tries to explore the historical data of notes novel in the Imperial Examination of Ming, and analyzes the basic situation and literature value, in order to help to sorting and utilization of literature. Therefore, this paper based on Imperial Examination System in the Ming dynasty, discussed the important meaning of those issues in the imperial examination data, especially tried to research the literature values from the records in the notes novel of the Ming dynasty.This paper will be divided into four parts. The first part, I’ll briefly settle down the summarize of the notes novel in the Ming dynasty. The second part, I’ll sum up the person in historical data of the notes novel in the Ming dynasty. The third part, I’ll introduce the classification of the notes novel in the Ming dynasty which can be seen in the Imperial Examination System. The last part, it expounds the value of Imperial Examination System in the Ming dynasty, it’s no doubt that the focus of this paper,and it shows the notes novel’s literature value of the Imperial Examination System in the Ming dynasty.
