In Zong Pu’s published four volume novel—Ye Hu Lu Yin,he creats many colorful exotic images which are from different countries, such as Japan,America and Britain.These exotic images are not only the true epitome of the history, but also reflect Zong Pu ’ s unique cultural experience,and focus the reflection on the culture of "the other" and "self".Witness the Chinese nation suffered from Japanese invasion, Zong Purose in revolt with the allied assistance. All kinds of the created exotic images are a mixture of her thoughts and emotions.Based on Ye Hu Lu Yin,the paper uses the comparative literature image theory and method to deeply explore it Japanese, American, British and Jewish images.The paper will be written from three aspects.First, the Japanese image which covers the most extensive in Ye Hu Lu Yin are going to be studied in the paper. After combing the changing ofJapanese image in Chinese literatre, the Japanese image will be highlighted in the Chinese novel. The paper will be compared with Lao she’s The Yellow Storm, to demonstrate the wild inclination of Japanese image in Ye Hu Lu Yin. On the premise of text study, study the external text including community’s collective imagination and the Zongpu’s experience from south to north. On the subjective and objective factors,the constructional cause of Japanese image will be explored in Ye Hu Lu Yin.Secondly, research on the characteristics of US image and shape factor in Ye Hu Lu Yin. The image of US as allies and the process are based on real wartime military cooperation between China and the US. So this section will examine the Chinese collective awareness towards Anti-Japanese War and the postwar and explain the reason for the construction of the US image by direct and indirect way of Zong Pu. In other words, the US image in Ye Hu Lu Yin is not the brief description of the "other". Instead, it is the production of the collision of Chinese and American culture.Thirdly, research the British and the Jews and other exotic images involved in Ye Hu Lu Yin. Starting from this essay, the author has also imposed some of the country’s cultural characteristics on others to project its image when demonstrating the image shaped by Zong Pu. When analyzing the Jewish couple’s image for survival from trouble, the essayreveals the commonality of human existence.
