A Faith Study On The Cha Hua Niang In The South Of Zhejiang Province

In the mountain area of southern Zhejiang province, which is the She Nationality moved earliest during the period of Ming and Qing, for thousands of years, since being mixed together with Han people in the region of southern Zhejiang, the She nationality people maintain their traditional cultural characteristics facing the risk of assinmilation by the strong Han culture at the same time. Moreover, the She Nationality in south of Zhejiang province formed a distinctive folk customs of god belief system, and the Cha Hua Niang in the She Nationality which was just shaped by the people in this nationality. It originated in the village of Heng Lan Ao of Songyang in Lishui city, based mainly on an intelligent and courageous girl from the She nationality, who dare to pursue the true love, becoming into a Goddess in the heart of the She Nationality and Han people particularly for the first one in Lishui region, helping whom from the distress.In this paper, from the point of view of cultural geography, through field investigation, investigation and analysis are carried out in Lishui area 11 Township Cha Hua Niang by the method of basic statistics and comparisons. A detailed description of Temple distribution of the Cha Hua Niang arrangement in Lishui area so as to clearly outline the characteristics of regional Cha Hua Niang propagation in Lishui area, and on this basis, compared with Han Cha Hua Niang belief, further analysis of Han Cha Hua Niang belief of ethnic fusion significance.This paper is divided into three parts, the preface mainly introduces the origin and significance, research topic, also the geography, environment, culture and other aspects of the field were summarized.The first part, through the analysis of the sources about the Cha Hua Niang. Focuses on the She nationality migrated to the Lishui area history origin and development of Cha Hua Niang of speculation, and the different versions of the Cha Hua Niang legend analysis.The second part, the investigation of the Cha Hua Niang legend and temples. Based on the population distribution of the beliefs of Cha Hua Niang the local of the national in She and Han, the difference of the aggregation features, discusses the existing Cha Hua Niang belief which appears in the regional characteristics of these temples, and comparative analysis of Cha Hua Niang belief characteristics are obtained, the influence of the surrounding people in life as a domain belief.The third part, the comparison of Cha Hua Niang belief about She and Han, this part on the basis of the second part, contrastive study Cha Hua Niang belief, it is concluded that the same region of two kinds of faith the gradual convergence phenomenon and ethnic relations embodied by the folk belief.The fourth part,the belief of Cha Hua Niang is mentioned, including its studying in depth and utilization, in which the writer will put forward some proposals according to the development of Cha Hua Niang in Lishui.The conclusion part is the extension of the summary, it mainly discusses the Cha Hua Niang belief significance of national integration and development trend as a goddess of regional.
