In the history of French literature, Baudelaire was a legend.he was the last romanticist poet of French literature and also the forerunner of French Realism, who was like a bridge connecting Romanticism and realism of French literature. His poetry, essays and artistic conception are full of free and rebelling spirit which was also reflected in his special aesthetic thoughts and his bold artistic ways of poetic creation. While the most disputable point of Baudelaire was his blasphemous attitude towards the God.This paper, from the religious aspect, probes into the reasons why Baudelaire defamed the God, meanwhile, explains his special Resistance and rebellion by this way.Baudelaire’s《Flowers of Evil》was haunted by the religions shadow,even its framework was religious shadow. Even its framework was bored on Christianity. But different from other co-temporary poets, his poems are always with some offensive meaning to the Christianity. Owning to this, he was charged by court and church, Christianity, as an orthodox and authority at that time become a block-stone for the literary creation of Baudelaire. He never stopped frighting against religion in his works during his lifetime. Aiming at the reasons of Baudelaire’s blasphemy and rebellion, this paper wants to find answers through the search of following problems. First, how did Baudelaire’s religious perspective shape; second, how did Christianity affect his literary creation; third, figure out the root reasons of his blasphemy and analyze his metaphysical rebellious spirit and resistant behaviors.In order to solve the four problems mentioned above, this paper was divided into four chapters: First chapter“Baudelaire’s religious viewpoint”,at the beginning of this chapter the paper relates the trial on religion and literature in 1857, and then combs Baudelaire’s life experience on religious events of significance. This is the cornerstone of the paper. After these contents, the paper quest for the forming reason of Baudelaire’s character and religious opinions from household and social aspects.Second chapter,“the christian elements in Fleurs du Mal” by analyzing the religious components of the poem concretely from religion image, macro-construction and the religious complex, the paper tries to prove that although Baudelaire takes Jesus Christ retreated into the perpetual night as his slogan, in fact, the exists everywhere in his poem.Third chapter, “the reasons of Baudelaire’s blasphemy”. Generally speaking the reason of Baudelaire’s blasphemy is that he wanted to get rid of the religions restriction. This was a multifaceted restriction, including freedom of literary creation, emotional expression and aesthetic thoughts. Etc. For the purpose of fulfilling all of these, Baudelaire have no choice but to create his own god and religious belief.Chapter fourth, “Baudelaire’s resisting consciousnesses”. In this chapter we mainly discuss Deconstructionist Resistance and the enlightenment effect of Baudelaire’s resistance for the modernism. In a word, Fleurs du Mal was an eternal canon, Baudelaire used the anti-christian way to made his resistance of various facets come true. He criticized not his contemporary society, but enlightened the future generation. Therefore, his works has a vary high academic value.
