| Erich Fromm is a famous humanist philosopher and psychoanalysis psychologist in the 20th century, and he is also one of the representative figure of Frankfurt school. Through the prosperity of western society, Fromm sees the defectiveness of human in the capitalist society, criticizes all kinds of phenomenons of alienation filling in the capitalist society, proposes that it is necessary to establish the thoughts of a sound society. He is devoted to explore the Western social crisis and the human crisis, hopes to find a new and humane path of development to change the living plight of modern people through the integration of Marxism and the theory of psychoanalysis, thus makes perfect man. Although there are essential differences between the national situations of our country and the society of Fromm, China faces enormous challenges in the current age like the age of Fromm. China is in the period of a rapid development of economic, from the experience of development stages of economical level of western developed countries, we can see the social conflicts and continuous crisis of people in this period. In rapid social transition of China, production level and people’s living standards is improving with people’s psychiatric anxiety of and the highlighted social contradictions,lack of rationality and trust,which is one of practical problems that needs to be solved in the development of a harmonious socialist society therefore,it is necessary to learn widely from their strong points for promoting the development of Chinese society and realizing the continuous improvident and optimization of the socialist society.Fromm not only criticizes western social evils from the economic,political and cultural factors,but also explores contemporary spirit pathological problems from the unique perspective of micro psychology,and looks for the path to the sound society.Though it is hard to avoid the subjective color,we can learn some valuable ideas to promote the construction of the socialist harmonious society.This paper first introduces the formation process and main contents of social development thought of Fromm. The world war and the outbreak of economic crisis cause the thoughts of Fromm on living conditions. Marx’s philosophical thoughts,Freud’s psychoanalysis theories and critical theories of Frankfurt school provide theoretical source for Fromm’s social development thoughts. The social development thoughts of Fromm mainly includes three aspects of content about human and humanity, alienation of people and sound society. Secondly, exploring that Fromm’s social development thought is in harmony with our harmonious social thought on respect for people,and agrees with requirement of harmony of mentality, person state and ecology in the construction of harmonious society in our country. Once again, discussing Fromm’s social development thoughts of theoretical value on deepening people-oriented thoughts, enriching Marx’s socialist theory and practical value on construction of socialist harmonious society.Finally,in the premise of the basic principles of a clear reference to Fromm’s social development thoughts, from all aspects on the reform of economy, politics and culture, comes up with reasonable contents of a clear reference to Fromm’s social development thoughts, constructs specific thinking of socialist harmonious society. |
