| In the development process of urbanization, the structure of Urban and rural areas has significantly changed, a large number of rural communities in the suburbs were gradually disappearing in this process, and replaced by the new urban communities. Because of the demise of rural physical communities, the reserved and inherited folklore culture in rural are forced to leave its growing land, and goes to a dead end. After the demise of rural physical communities, the village Nantangsancun in Lucheng district of Wenzhou city is also influenced by the urbanization, however, It still maintains its unique village community culture. Thanks to the folk beliefs as the basis, it led to the re-aggregation of the villagers. Under the condition of the physical communities’ disappearing, it continues its village culture, and maintains the village’s group identity.In this paper, it takes the particular Wenzhou suburban rural community Nantangsancun as an example, On the basis of analyzing the village’s historical and cultural background and its process of urbanization, it describes its village community folk culture, such as the unique local faith ceremony, the dragon boat race, the folk legend, and so on. On the basis of analyzing the invisible impact on village community folk culture phenomenon by folk beliefs, try to find this village’s discipline of the Folk beliefs-based culture subsisting and the identity of homeland.The whole thesis is divided into seven sections: the first chapter is an introduction part, It mainly research the significance of studying the rural community culture’s subsisting discipline under the folklore perspective. Also reviews the relative previous research status. The second chapter outlines the urbanization experience of Wenzhou, Nantang Street and Nantangsancun. The third chapter introduces the religious places in Nantangsancun, and briefly describes their beliefs contained activities. The fourth chapter details the most important folk cultural activities Nantangsancun currently reserved, such as the dragon boat race, and its related structural organizations, faith ceremonies, and so on. The fifth chapter Nantangsancun takes the popular folklore legends as a starting point, and analyzes the impact on the villagers group identity and the inherited village culture by folklore legend. In the sixth chapter, it is divided into three parts, part one analyzes the influence of the sociology of religion’s function on Nantangsancun’s folk beliefs. Part two elaborates the relationship between the Catholics and the Christians and the villagers group identity. The third part folk beliefs have positive significance in the process of urbanization. The seventh part is the conclusion part. |
