Gerd said that "all creatures yearn for color". The birth of film has only 120 years of history, but the development of the film industry is rapidly. The advent of the film master George Merie tried to film frame color film before the first color film "Vanity Fair". From then on, the color becomes an essential element of the film. The use of color change and affect the quality of the film. Most of the time, the film color is in figures, props, scenes like materialized form, however, the color also has a deeper meaning in these things outside. "Defamiliarization" as a form is widely used in the field of literature and arts, Defamiliarization colors used in movie creation is different from the real life in color. As an important part of the movie-film art design, its contribution to the film visual effects accounted for much of. When we talk about the film color, we have to mention the film art design. Each item appears in the films have been carefully designed by film artist. The work of film artist is the basis of film modeling. I will demonstration the use of defamiliarization colors based on color elements. It is more down-to-earth than talking about some film directors’ color styles. This paper is going to analysis 11 typical films to summed up the use of law and effect of defamiliarization colors.
