| As a famous Hunanese traditional Chinese painters, Yang Gongping dedicated to the art of Chinese ink and wash covering the aspect of landscape painting, flower and-bird painting, figure painting for years, who has achieved certain results,especially in the field of landscape painting. His unique artistic style in the modern painting produced a certain influence. According to Huang Tieshan, a famous painter, Yang’s painting is local, traditional, modern and personalized, just like "flowers of the wild", he used West Hunan folk personality and created "home style conception", which have a far-reaching impact in contemporary painting. Yang’s works attended art exhibitions home and abroad and won the prizes for many times,his major work include "Wild Dreams Series", " Hometown in West Hunan Collages Series", "Old Memory of Shepherd Series", " Enjoyment in the Wild series", etc. The large number of major work embo dies th e rich artisti c achievements in Yang’s exploration practice in the field of ink painting’s. Yang Gongping is a diligent scholar, educator and the organizers of artwork. He is engaged in the fine arts education in colleges for many years who used to be dean of Department of Fine Arts in Huaihua College, and now as dean of the school of art, professor, supervisor of postgraduate, Hunan university of science and technology as well as visiting professor in Nanjing Agricultural University.Meanwhile, he is also vice chairman of Hunan Artists Association, Committee member of Art Education of Hunan Department of Education, distinguished painter in Art Academy of Hunan, Chief of Hunan Xiaoxiang Academy, Consultant of Hunan Traditional Chinese Painters Academy, Consultant of Hunan Youth Artists Association. Over the years in his career, he made significant contribution to the development of fine arts in Hunan. Not only for the art activities he organized, but also the positive profound influence he made. Therefore, the study of Yang Gongping’s ink painting art will be beneficial to the development of contemporary fine arts in Hunan, and on the other hand, it also has the practical significance and value for the exploration and practice of contemporary ink painting art language.On the basis of existing research results, this paper analyze Yang’s ink ainting art characteristics from the perspective of comprehensive, and summarizes valuable academic theories and views. Divided into six chapters, this paper mainly analysis artistic experience, form of painting language, art, style characteristic and personal art through the painter’s life experience, discovery the value of Yang’s art of painting.Chapter one is the introduction of the research significance, research status and research methods. Chapter two divides artistic experiences into different stages such as early exploration stage, the forming of individual ink symbols stage according to Yang ’s life experiences and divers of his artistic style. Chapter three mainly analyzes the form of painting language and art style of Yang Gongping. Combining with a large number of works, the paper demonstrates from four aspects include the unique art language of blend of brush and ink; the abstract and exaggerated modeling symbol;fresh, elegant and lively color; ingenious layout, in order to analyze Yang’s form of painting language. And then summarized the ink painting style of Yang’s: magical and mischievous, simple original ecological, and poetic poetry and beauty state. f Chapter four summarizes Yang’s view and opinions towards painting art. Chapter five evaluates and review the value of Yang’s ink paiting art, and focus on the significance to the development of contemporary ink painting localization in Hunan of his achievement in painting art. |
