Words due to frequently co-occurred with specific semantic features language units, often contract some kind of semantic color, we call it semantic prosody, it reveals that the words have semantic selection inclination when combining with collocate words or phrases. Mandarin words of this thesis all come from "Modern Chinese Dictionary", combining with information which come from Modern Chinese Corpus of Peking University and the Chinese Word Sketch Engine Corpus, using the basic method of Collocation Research in Corpus Linguistics, and a combination of quantitative and qualitative research method. Finally, we extract 820 of semantic prosody inclined words. According to the nature of semantic prosody inclined words, strong or weak, we divide into four categories: strong positive semantic prosody inclined words, weak positive semantic prosody inclined words, strong negative semantic prosody inclined words and weak negative semantic prosody inclined words. Put these words into Singapore Malaysian Thailand Chinese Media Corpus, 790 words still have the same semantic prosody inclination,these words are made into four categories and four Vocabulary Table; 30 words’ semantic prosody inclination are different, these words are made into eight categories. This thesis respectively choose one example from the four categories of the same semantic prosody inclined words and eight categories of the different semantic prosody inclined words to do detailed analysis, in order to describe similarities and differences of semantic prosody inclined words between Mandarin and Singapore Malaysian Thailand Chinese.
