With the development of genre and genre-analysis theory, we begin to realize that genre-based approach is effective in improving students’ language ability.According to this theory, the author attempt to use genre-based teaching approach in the class of Chinese listening. It turns out that: this approach can help students to get a better understanding of the structure and the cultural feature of a text, and obtain a skill of communication and understanding; at the same time, it can help teachers to use a new teaching method and improve classroom instructing efficiency. |
