Research About The Mandatory Speech Acts Of Thai Native Chinese Teachers’ Classes

In this paper, the Mandatory Speech Acts of 16 Thai native Chinese teacher’s classes are the main study object. Through the methods of audio and video recordings, transfer text, corpus analysis, collected 1724 classroom instruction language analysis.The results show that in Chinese classes, Thai native teachers use mandatory indirect speech act more frequently than direct command Speech Acts. Because statistical results show that the use frequency of mandatory indirect Speech Acts of Thai native Chinese teacher is54.18%, the use frequency of mandatory direct Speech Acts of Thai native Chinese teacher is45.82%. The rate of mandatory indirect is higher than the direct one. And the choices of using mandatory speech ACTS for Thai native Chinese teachers mainly depend on the teacher’s Chinese language level, personality, gender, teaching experience and teaching experience and so on.About instruction strategy, influenced by the social culture, power status, the relationship between teachers and students, and teachers’ own habits and so on. In different stages of teaching,the use of strategy types of Thai native Chinese teachers has difference. Overall, the highest use frequency is strategy of Invitation-type, the proportion is 46.35%;next one is strategy of Order-type, 32.03%;the last one is strategy of Suggestion-type, only 21.64%.The study also shows that in the process of using instruction strategies, Thai native Chinese teachers still have the following problems: First, lack of instruction logic, the purpose of instruction is not unclear enough; Second, over-reliance on native language, the forms of instruction strategies are too simple; Third, language forms and instruction strategies are long and more; Fourth, forms of Command language are too casual and loosed, timeliness of teaching is not good enough.
