In China, the standards of evaluation of academic achievement is students’ academic performance, Test is the standard of performance. Students’ grade can be made an accurate evaluation by tests which is the quality of teaching and learning. So analysising the quality of test has become a very important aspect on improving, through estimating the items in a test, we can judge the level of the items and modify it to improve the accuracy and fairness of a test.Rasch model can judge the quality of test’s level through the reaction between items and individuals, can estimate the difficulties of items and the ability levels of individuals, also they are compared to each other on the same ruler whichcan beknown the difference of them, the difference is smaller, the smaller the error, the more accurate the results. The study investigates the feasibility of using Rasch model analysis test quality, using WINSTEPS software to analysis the English simulation test in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. The results show that:(1) the English test is high-quality, that can distinguish the item-difficulty levels and individual-ability levels;(2) the distribution of item difficulty is good, students’ abilities levels is higher as a whole level, items difficulties are lower, although the items can be a good evaluation in the medium ability level of individuals, they provide less information in the high level of ability;(3) gender DIF in the items, there are seven items have different difficulty levels in the male and female groups, including four non-uniform DIF items that are needed to modify. From research conclusions, Rasch model can provide more measurement information for the accuracy of test, item difficulty and examinee ability, so it is a more effective method in estimating the quality of test.
