In China, more than 50% cultural heritages are distributed in extensive rural areas. Since the end of 2011, an urban population exceeds a rural population for the first time, and with fast-paced urbanization and under the influence of globalization and modernization; cultural heritage in countryside faces crises of cultural assimilation and disappearance. Historical and cultural villages are the ministry of construction jointly with the administration of cultural heritage in our country that has a certain value, and cultural landscapes are an important part of the protection of historical and cultural villages. Under the current countryside construction, with the concept of cultural landscape dominant and recessive factors through the full paper, a preservation method for properly extending rural cultural landscapes is discussed.This paper includes sixth chapters, and the introduction part in the first chapter describes study backgrounds of the research, domestic and foreign states about the study, innovation points of the research, and so on. The second chapter defines related research objects in this paper, analyzes elements of the cultural landscapes in the historical and cultural villages, and also analyzes challenges and limitation in the village development under the new countryside construction and main participants in construction. The third chapter and the fourth chapter are main parts of the paper, and from analysis of field investigation of the Bishan village in Yi County of Huizhou, and found its lack of protection of planning. This paper analyzes elements of cultural landscapes in Bishan, and proposes specific principles and methods of preservation designs, to avoid destruction of traditional cultural landscapes from the development of villages. In the fifth chapter, theories and practices in the foregoing are used as bases to summarize universalistic principles and strategies of the preservation designs of the cultural landscapes in the historical and cultural village under rural construction background. The last chapter is a summary of research results of this paper, and also indicates deficiencies of the research and future research directions.
