Realistic Oil Painting Works "Portrait Of The People" Creation Report

This thesis is the creation report of my graduation work,which is Human portrait- laborer. This thesis is not only the interpretation of my graduation creation but also a summary of my study of the realistic oil painting in the postgraduate stage and a reflection of some phenomena in our society.Firstly, the reason of my creation work is being introduced,which is my personal feelings of social anxiety phenomenon. And these feelings mainly include the objective reason of this social anxiety phenomenon and how to express my real feelings to this phenomenon. Secondly, the purpose of the realistic portrait oil painting is being illustrated, which mainly is to study the language and skills of the realistic oil painting and to cultivate creative ability. Then the preparation of my creation work is being described, which includes material collection, material arrangement and an introduction and study of the tools of realistic oil painting. Afterwards, the creation procedure is being elaborated. And this procedure is very important in the realistic oil painting. And through this creation work, I have a new cognition and understanding to the procedure of the realistic oil painting, which mainly includes sketch draft, light color draft, texture manufacture,painting color, in-depth characterization and over dyeing, and my realistic painting skill has improved a lot. Then, some of my experiences of my graduation work are being briefly discussed. Through this graduation work, I realized the importance of sketch and color to the realistic oil painting.Finally, the feelings expressed by this realistic portrait oil painting are being described.
