For nearly 30 years, metaphor study has developed into hotspot issues of the linguistic study, cognitive linguistics and pragmatics have quite a lot of research on metaphor of the ontology, and also have a great achievement;But of the comparison of the Chinese and foreign language metaphor is less, especially the contrastive study of metaphors in Chinese and Southeast Asian languages needs to be strengthened.This article selects blackboard "SHANG/XIA" as the breakthrough point, ask explore the similarities and differences of zhongtai orientational metaphor, and the errors made by Thai students blackboard acquisition ask phenomenon, analysis the reason, put forward specific targeted for teaching Chinese as a foreign language,hoping to provide some help for Thailand students to learn Chinese Orientation.After investigation, the author draws the following conclusions:1.From "SHANG/XIA", sketch out orientational metaphor of chinese and Thai language,and find out that there are similarities and differences between chinese and thai language.Domain points, such as Chinese and Thai metaphor, conceptual metaphor, the expansion of meaning between the same, but in the time range and status expression exist difference.2.Chinese spatial words in Thai language is more complex, Thai students’ Chinese spatial words acquisition process often appears in error, error types mainly concentrated in "coined", "missing", "redundancy" the three types of errors on.3.Thai students Chinese nouns of locality bias phenomenon, and negative transfer of native language and cultural differences and cognitive differences have very close relationship. In order to reduce the Thai students use Chinese localizers of errors, this paper, from the material preparation, teachers’ teaching and students’ learning in three aspects discusses the specific countermeasures.
