Application And Reseach Of Three-dimensional Paper Sculptures In Book Design

Not only books are the bearer of conveying ideas, but also they are the stage of creating vision, touch, hearing, smell and taste which gives us pleasure. As a container of information,books formation is a form of expression and function in numerous design space, and ultimately to experience the cultural implication of the books. With the progress of science and technology, paper sculpture as a visual language of art, has been applied to the book designs,which provides many creative and expressional means.Research is involved in the expression and application of the paper sculpture in book design, a reasonable attempt is proposed to combine the paper sculpture of the three-dimensional shape with the design of the books formation to research the methods and application in the book form of visual expression design, besides combining my creations "The Thirty-six Stratagems" book formation design, the performance of three-dimensional paper sculptures and books way shape design combined structure of books, the "dimensions" of the graphic language presentation and the layout about the design applications for book design are analyzed deeply to explore new means for the future designs of books and seek for a broader application space.
