Jerzy Grotowski is Poland’s drama master. According to his drama types, we can divided it into four stages, listed as Poor Theatre, Paratheatre, Theatre of Sources, Art as vehicle. In the four stages of drama, Jerzy Grotowski created many new Dramatic ways. His advocation that the dramatists can apply unique drama concepts, impressed many Chinese and foreign dramatists. With the increasing of China’s opening to the outside world, Jerzy Godowski’s drama concepts also gradually be introduced to China. From the director, screenwriter, actor to art students, in China, many of them affected by Jerzy Grotowski. This article will use the method of Comparative literature and world literature to prove the influence on Chinese cultural fields. This thesis mainly divided into four chapters, focused on looking for the persons like actors, directors, drama writers who are Influenced by Jerzy Grotowski, to prove the existence of the Jerzy Grotowski in China.The first chapter:The introduction part mainly introduces Jerzy Grotowski himself and the research of dynamic about him. Meanwhile,we will introduce the impact of the theories on China.The second chapter:The analysis are mainly from mainland and Hongkong and Taiwan.Study the elements of Jerzy Godowski from the works of Lin Zhaohua, Mou Sen, Feng Yuanzheng, Hongkong and Taiwan’s dramatist. About the director Lin, we mainly look for the new methods about Jerzy Grotowski from The absolute signal of Lin Zhaohua. Such as Lin attaches great importance to actors and audience. At the same time he also advocated the drama performance with a small theater form. The two ideas above are very similar to Jerzy Grotowski. Director Mou Sen, who was crazy and persistent in learning Jerzy Grotowski.He put those drama theories into practice. At any time we can found Jerzy Grotowski in his works. In addition, it is actor Feng Yuanzheng, One of the earliest person in China who studied Jerzy Grotowski, that is rational and moderate on using Jerzy Grotowski method of drama. As a teacher of him now, begins teaching students the way of Grotowski’s drama. He hopes the actors can make every action in the performance in the score of the works. Then,Deng Shurong, a director from Hongkong, who has been studying Jerzy Godowski for many years, focuses on the training of actors very much.Moreover, Deng Shurong is one of the most successful man who study Jerzy Godowski.In this chapter, we will analyse his works to testify. Finally we will analyze Taiwanese drama. Because of Liu Jing min and Chen Weicheng, who were immediate student of Grotowski. So they were known for introducing a more systematic and comprehensive than the mainland. We will from "good god drum" to make analysis and research. Influenced by both of them, drama theories in Taiwan has a certain extension. In the "art as vehicle" study of Zhong Mingde, it embodied more thoroughly.The third chapter mainly introduce the gains and losings of Godowski. Gains are mainly from analyzing the energy that Godowski gave China. Such as Lin Zhaohua, Gao Xingjian pays attention to the audience and the theater, by properly grasp the drama theory and combining the actual China,creating satisfactory works. Hongkong dramatist Deng Shurong paid attention to the physical training method, whose works are renowned overseas, Taiwan dramatist Liu Jingmin and Chen Weicheng mainly follows the Grotowski "art as a vehicle ", also got some attention in Taiwan. "Lossing" mainly from the Mou Sen drama problems, he overlooks texts, and deconstruct structure with blind to the drama script. In addition, the drama theory of paying attention to the director, this also let his drama lost audience and market.The fourth chapter is the conclusion part.First of all, it gives an overview of the above. Secondly, from some various contemporary drama festivals, the art course choice and teaching of art colleges and universities, journal articles published, we do some thinking and discussion for the influence of Grotowski on China and the extension of his influence.
