Comic is a branch of the visual arts. In different ages, it has different kinds of expressing approaches. Therefore, it is known for all with various artistic forms. With the development of the time, the category of comic becomes various and mature. It brings about numerous categories. Also, it contains plenty of themes. There are a number of comics which are suitable for people of all age.However, one of the most popular and various comic is campus comics. Campus comic is consistent with the learning experiences in their daily lives. What’s more, it reflects students’ friendship. That is to say, it is very close to their real life. Thus, campus comic has practical significance for the development of Chinese youngsters. The vivid characters, the clothes and the campus scenes are all consistent with the youngsters’ everyday lives, which is the main reason why the campus comic is so popular among the Chinese youngsters. Based on campus comics and adolescents’ aesthetic enlightenment, this thesis exhaustively analyzed the characters’ styles, the menu language and the features of scenes. In addition, this thesis investigated the relationship between features of campus comics and the adolescents’ aesthetic psychology.That is to say, the campus comics’ characteristics such as visuality,hypothesis and exaggeration resonate with the adolescents’ aestheticpsychology. And in this way, it sets up the relationship between the campus comics and Chinese adolescents’ visual aesthetics. This thesis puts special emphasis on the influence, which makes by the campus comics, on Chinese adolescents’ visual aesthetics. It contains not only the influence on the self-image of adolescents, but also on the the adolescents’ appreciation of the beauty of living environment, academic environment and entertainment environment.
